The team of 8th Legion was founded by Sebastian Ravagnani, Lewis Weaver and Boon Yeo at around 2005. The aim for the group was to enter the Make Something Unreal competition with a total conversion mod.

After a long period of concept and idea generation (plus beer drinking), the team participated in the Global Games Jam 2011 in Sydney to test the capabilities of the group. Impressed with the results, the team has decided to create their own Indie games.
